“ Requires reservations for summer lunches, because all the locals go there then because there’s shade. In the evenings the sun comes in and only four outdoor tables are shaded, so reservations are advisable then too. View is fantastic, drinks fine, food okay though Berlin prices which surprised us. Cash only, or paypal! Kitchen hours advertised prominently and accurately, yay, but we went at 5pm. ”

“ For Valentine's Day, we went to the Angler's Club in Prenzlau. It was our first time there. They offered a set menu. We had beef fillet; salmon was also an option. The ambiance is what you'd expect from a club restaurant: cozy, but nothing special. The only server was very friendly, quick, and even when things got hectic for a few moments, she remained very professional. As for the food, all three courses were beautifully presented, but taste is what really matters, and in that respect, we gave it top marks. Absolutely delicious! What we particularly appreciate is that the owner makes a real effort to come up with special offers and events. Bonus points for this extra innovation! We'll be back more often. ”

It has a nautical feel, just like my adopted home, yet it feels like being at home with my mom—simply lovely, delicious, and cozy.
